Symetry is kinda where you make a copy of a shape on the other side of the line of symettry. You sort of reflect it . you can get a mirror and put it on the line of symetry and it will reflect it

Symmetry is where something is reflected, by a line of symmetry which is just the line where you reflect the image. If you are reflecting something then it needs to be the same on all sides that are being reflected

This is a Union Jack which is a good example of 'Rotational Symmetry'. Rotational Symmetry is when a shape looks the same after multiple amount of times being rotated. Also a recycling sign is a good example.

A rectangle can be rotated about its centre by half a turn. The result looks exactly like the original rectangle. We call this rotational symmetry. Images can still be rotated and they look the same e.g propeller blades. The order is how many times it fits into its own shape. There is lots of useful information on bbc bitsize and mathsisfun. They have tests you can do on bbc bitesize and activities for you to improve your symmetry.. Back on to orders, there is not a symmetry order one as if you only matches itself once, it will not go into itself more so there is no symmetry as there is only one....
