Yes, Mass Effect Because, Monopoly has obviously had a lot of love put into it. The board features important people and ships from the game, and the player pieces represent the Normandy SE2, the "grabby space cow", the "space hamster", Shepard's helmet, among other things. All of the features of the classic monopoly board game are tastefully infused with aspects from the Mass Effect universe, with sometimes extremely humorous results. 

For example, the "Income Tax" board piece is now "Calibrations", which made me laugh a lot. The game's money has the main characters from ME3 on it, and each was labeled "Credits", as in the game. The chance and community chest cards were replaced with paragon and renegade, etc. 

Wonderful fun for me and my friends, some of whom don't even play Mass Effect. Very well put together, beautifully designed, a pleasure to have.

2. The Filipino way of wooing is still called courting, and its rituals can feel quite old-fashioned. Catholic women are expected to stay virgins until marriage, and so courting is generally a dignified and polite way for teenage boys and girls to get to know each other without any hanky-panky involved. “Suitors” – interested males – may “send their regards”, shower females with gifts over the years, and go on dates supervised by a chaperone. Of course, much of the younger generation is keen to get away from these old norms, but the traditional practice is still rife among middle-class families.


3. Cockfighting Although it seems like a bloody and even cruel pastime to outsiders, within the Philippines cockfighting is just a part of life. Hopes, dreams, and fortunes are pinned onto the fate of these carefully bred birds. Cockfighting rings are a common sight even in the cities, and there are countless birds being raised for the ring at any time in the countryside. Generally the domain of men, the sport draws crowds to assess, bet, and cheer on the winners – they also eat the losers.

4. Yes , Because, The Philippines is a culture in which East meets West. The Filipino people have a distinct Asian background, with a strong Western tradition. The modern Filipino culture developed through influence from Chinease traders, Spanish conquistadors, and American rulers. Filipino people tend to be very hospitable, especially to Western visitors (1). Because of their strong ties to Spanish culture, Filipinos are emotional and passionate about life in a way that seems more Latin than Asian (1). This is easily seen in the works of comporary artists such as Rody Herrera in his painting Unahan Sa Duluhan.

The family is the basic and most important aspect of Filipino culture. Divorce is prohibited and annulments are rare (2). The family is the safety net for indivuduals, especially older people, during difficult economic times. Children will often stay with their parents into adulthood, only leaving when they get married (2). Political and business ties are often influenced by family relationships

Two traits that many foreign visitors often have a difficult time understanding are Pakikisama and Utang na Loob. Pakikisama roughly means "getting along" and requires individuals overlook slight improprieties or indiscretions for the sake of preserving peace within the family, personal, or business relationship. Utang na Loob refers to the custom of paying back one favor with another (2). These traits emphasize the importance that Filipino people place on maintaining pleasant interpersonal relationships and puting the needs of the group ahead of the individual.

5. yes, Because, If you experience diversity in your everyday life, you will have regular exposure to people, cultures, traditions, and practices that are unlike your own. Hopefully you will learn the skills to communicate and interact with communities, concepts, and belief systems that you are unfamiliar with and therefore gain a more worldly, balanced, and informed perspective. Not only will you enhance your own social development, but you will also increase your true understanding of the world. Introduction

Many processes occurring in modern society are primarily influenced by the dissemination of popular culture. Over the past years, television and the Internet have become popular with people of different ages and backgrounds. Reality shows, TV series, and YouTube channels transmit values that affect people’s behavior. However, it is still debatable whether society benefits from the consumption of popular culture’s products. A vast number of arguments for and against popular culture can be found, and thus, it is necessary to evaluate this phenomenon thoroughly. This paper uses formal analysis to identify the influence of popular culture on young people. This question is of particular importance nowadays, because the future of society entirely depends on youth. The primary aim of the paper is to show that popular culture’s products, TV shows included, may have a different impact on the youth, and the latter should be aware of their potential implications.

Main body

Popular culture serves as an effective way of establishing relationships between people from different backgrounds. It is especially relevant for youth who found entire communities based on common interests. In the digital world, it becomes harder for people to communicate with each other and establish contact. However, popular culture somehow helps young people to overcome these difficulties. Ratha (2017) uses Comic-con, a huge annual gathering of comics lovers, as an example of an event that has a positive influence on youth. The author believes that such activities might help youngsters to make new friends and talk about things they both are interested in.

Moreover, pop culture may contribute positively to the development of identities, national identity included. This fact leads to a legitimate question of how TV shows influence the development of national identity among youngsters, Canadian or otherwise. This study analyzes the importance of television shows in national identity-building among youth on the meso-level in different cities of the same province, on the macro-level in different Canadian provinces, and on the global scale. Formal analysis reveals that different cities do not display meaningful differences, results in the provinces vary depending on pre-existing regional identities, and results in different countries depend on addressing the issues and values relevant for youth.

Problems

The main limitation of this study is the lack of relevant material for the macro-level. Comparing Canada and Russia as a Western Liberal democracy and Eastern European country with an increasingly autocratic government is an interesting and potentially telling topic. However, it proved unfeasible to assess the effectiveness of national identity-building in both countries through the same variables. While the statistics of the youngsters’ perception of TV shows as they relate to national identity is available for Canada, it proved impossible to find for Russia. As a result, only an indirect comparison of the effectiveness of TV shows in national identity-building in both countries was possible. If there were a possibility to obtain data on the same variables used for Canadian populations from the Russian population, this would improve the study significantly.
