Ognuna delle 4 ragazze ha un carattere diverso da quello delle sorelle. Nonostante gli avvenimenti tristi come malattie gravi e felici come matrimoni  , L'unione della famiglia March, anche nei confronti del padre, che è in guerra, si rivelerà davvero fortissima.
