One former colleague didn't trust the students to go on a trip to a mall (they're over 18).
In the exams, they're constantly distracted by higher ups telling them where to look. I wish we didn't have to do testing like this.
Frankly, I don't know to what extent we can trust the teachers to do an amazing job, or to take more than the bare minimum grading a paper. Do student health services even know these techs exist? I would doubt it very much in my case. Students are becoming more vocal about depression and anxiety, but I don't know if they even link it to exam proctoring - perhaps just the continued pressure in an environment that is not necessarily conducive to traditional testing methods. Ofsted have reported declining student performance, so does that mean that the testing is wrong or the swathes of students are wrong?
