         <description><![CDATA[<p>Kids have lost social skills - they can tend to block each other out. </p><p><br/></p><p>Kids have lost communication skills - they struggle to say what they mean. </p><p><br/></p><p>Adult limitations in their lives - </p><p>they learn how to relationship from the adults in their lives</p><p>they learn how to value education from people that dont value education</p><p>they learn how to see others through the lens of limited learning</p><p><br/></p><p>It is a college or not question for many rather than a learned or not question for many.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Ideas - </p><ul><li><p>practice ACT type questions</p></li><li><p>Practice wytopp type questions</p></li><li><p>data nuggets</p></li><li><p>data specific to what we are doing for bell ringers</p><ul><li><p>them changing text to data - creating tables and graphs from news articles</p></li><li><p>them changing data to story - taking a table or a graph and writing about it - both factual and opinion</p><ul><li><p>Both of these are a good way to look at application stories and current events</p></li></ul></li></ul></li><li><p>case studies - blue people, disputed maturity - where to find some new ones? Can I buy some with my money? </p></li><li><p>asking Sabrina (and company) to bring data that we can help with - how to clean it up.  </p></li></ul><p>BOTTOM LINE - PRACTICE.  </p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
