I continued to look fo other songs but I think that this song embodies most of the characteristics of Lubbock. Due to the acres of farmland, the terrain is mostly flat with not a lot to absorb the sound waves causing the sound of thunder to roll for miles through the air. As in Lubbock, you are most likely to hear country music and this song embodies the genre that many locals are infatuated with. Lubbock was also voted the Toughest Weather City in 2013 making it more likely for storms to pop up (probably not soon enough).
