Cette méthode utilise le canal visuel : un geste correspond à un son entendu et non à son écriture.

Certains enfants de la classe s'en servent soit pour lire, soit pour écrire des sons. Donc, si vous voyez votre enfant accompagner un son d'un geste, il s'aide probablement de cette méthode. Si vous voulez l'aider en mimant un son par exemple pour éviter une confusion de son ex: entre le son "b" ou le son "d", il vous faudra prendre connaissance de ces gestes.
