Some might say that the book has much more detail and interesting information than what appears in the movie, but both books turned into movies had very accurate details. What I liked about both movies is that the characters embodied the characters described in the book, and what I imagined in my head while reading was very similar to the scenes in the movie. For those of you that haven't read this book or watched the movie, it is basically about a little boy names August and he was born with a bunch of medical problems, including clef palate. This was not only a wonderful book, but it was also a great movie! It's themes and morals are a wonderful foundation for the beautiful building that R. J. Palacio designs and builds over the course of the story. The movie adaptation was great as well. Not only was it great on it's own, it transitioned all the writing of the book so well and it's my favorite book to movie adaptation.
