Hello, my name is Takiya Collins and I am a freshman from PG County, Maryland. I am a pre-nursing major and I intend to use my degree to become an Anesthesiologist.

Unbeknownst to many people I love and am really good at math. Continuing I am a great listener and advice giver. Many people come to me to get advice which almost persuaded me to go into psychology as much as I liked it. I am also very hard working and if I am to do anything I will do it to the best of my ability.

Some interesting facts about myself is that I love to bake and even want to open up a bakery when I get further into my career. Continuing I was also a dancer for 10 years and was seen in productions at many venues one being the MGM.

Memorable Event

One memorable event that occurred was my graduation day. It felt great to be recognized for all the hard work that I put in to get the seat that I got. A range of emotions were involved ranging from happy to sad among my family and I. This event also made the reality of life set in not only for myself but my family as well. Soon I would be off to North Carolina A&T on my own.
