Welcome to Master Class! I am Birahnu Abegaz, from Mekedela Amba University, College of Computing and informatics, where I serve as a lecturer,researcher, and Network and database designer. I have a B.Sc in information Technology, and MSC in Information Technology. I have 12 years of experience in teaching. Furthermore, I possess software engineering skills that include project management, requirement elicitation and analysis, software design, development, and testing among others. My Research interest includes Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Big Data analytics, Business Intelligence, Algorithms Design and Analysis, Cyber Security, Blockchain, and Computer Networks. I had less online teaching experience before the COVID-19. However, I started teaching online using various Learning Management Systems such as Google Classroom and Microsoft team during and after COVID-19. Since then I delivered my courses both in face-to-face sessions and online in blended. I witnessed how online teaching is helpful both for the teacher and the students in various ways. I'm very excited to get to know more about you and to support you on your journey in e-Learning particularly on this Master Class: Foundations for Excellence in Teaching Online.
