Felicia Elena Santoso X-2/16

• The people involved are young warriors and the elder leaders in Indonesia

• It happened at Rengasdengklok, Jakarta, Indonesia, at 16th of August 1945.

• It is describing the young warriors that wanted the elder leaders to declare Indonesia's Independence as soon as possible, rather than waiting for Japan's confirmation.

• It happens because the elder leaders didn't want to declare Indonesia's independence just yet before Japan's confirmation that they are allowed to do so. After a meeting and agreement, they decided to brought Soekarno and Hatta to Rengasdengklok, where they can be far away from Japan's influence, and to also try and convince Soekarno and Hatta to declare Indonesia's independence. After a while, this situation is heard by Admiral Maeda. Wikana (one of the young warrior) was pressured to return the two men to Jakarta. Achmad Soebardjo picked them up and they returned to Jakarta after Admiral Maeda guaranteed their safety and promised that Japan won't interfere in the independence proclamation.

• This incident is remembered as the young warrior's flaming spirit to see Indonesia's Independence, and to remember that perhaps if this incident didn't happen, Indonesia's Independence could be in a more complicated situation and time.

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.sbs.com.au/language/indonesian/en/article/independence-of-the-republic-of-indonesia-august-17-1945/4smm3mdn2%23:~:text%3DThe%2520kidnapping%2520of%2520Soekarno%2520and,later%2520than%252017%2520August%25201945.&ved=2ahUKEwijgr7xk9iJAxWbyzgGHYaiC9sQFnoECBYQBQ&usg=AOvVaw0BrXxJ_nH3h4ySXJZ4-3CM

A group called the Jacobins were formed and they sought out to arrest/execute the people who were against the french revolution, The Jacobins arrested more than 300,000 people and They put at least 17,000 people to death. Many had their heads cut off by a new machine called the guillotine. Finally, in July 1794 other members of the Convention arrested the leaders of the Terror. They sent these leaders to the guillotine. Weakened by external threats and internal opposition, the Republic was replaced in 1795 by the directory. At around 20:47 on the 26th of may 1941, the swordfish began attacking the bismarck. While most of the torpedo had no effect, one managed to jam the rudder of bismarck making it almost impossible to maneuver. On the morning of the 27th, norfolk sighted Bismarck before making contact with the British battleship and joining the battle. Hms rodney managed to hit Bismarck's forward superstructure. Damaging the bridge and killing most of the senior officers. The salvo also damaged Bismarck's forward main battery. Due to the erratic shooting of bismarck, the British ships are able to close the distance and by 9:31 all of the bismarck's guns are disabled. Because of this, the bismarck is able to be sunk easily and she slipped below the waves at 10:40.

4.

When bismarck sank

5.

Because this makes the atlantic trade route safer, allowing britain to get supplies, this also boosts british morale and led Hitler to change his naval tactic to mainly utilizing u-boats.

https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Fen.m.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FLast_battle_of_Bismarck&utm_campaign=aga&utm_source=agsadl1%2Csh%2Fx%2Fgs%2Fm2%2F4

Levant is a term in geography that refers to an area in the Middle East. It includes the historic areas of Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Syria, Cyprus, and the Hatay Province. The Crusades occured between 1095 and 1291.

3. The major action that occurred was the occurrence of 9 major wars, which involved many deaths.

4. This war started when Christians wanted to reclaim the Holy Land so they could worship safely, but not only because of this factor, this holy war also occurred because of economic, social and cultural factors.

5. The Crusades created national mythologies, tales of heroism, and a few place names. In the 8th Crusade, no one won the battle. In the 9th Crusade, Muslims succeeded in reclaiming the Holy Land. If seen from the end of this battle, the Crusade was won by the Muslims. Many historians believe the defeat of Christians in this war marked the end of the Crusader States and the Crusades themselves.

https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusades
