The theories I aligned with is Deweys theories, Vygosky and many more, they all have different views on teaching which can be adapted to teach a variety of students as not every student learns the same way. That also ties in with pedagogies.
The policies I aligned with would be inclusive, non-judgemental, open and a welcoming environment.

I believe that along with the course content, placement truely helped me to discover what teaching is really like. It taught me what a day in the life of a teacher looks like, entails, and much more. It helped me to discover different teaching styles and how to help students learn in different ways but teaching the one topic. It also helped me assess a student to see where they are at (in regards to the curriculum) and see if they can go up a level, need to stay on the same level for a little bit longer or go down a level.

I believe I could teach a class but would want to create a deeper understanding on how to adequately teach and provide students with the best care that they could possible attain.

"A teacher is a gardener" meaning that teaching is all about the environment. The environment for gardnering has to have the correct soil that needs to be tested and treated correctly for plants to grow. It needs the correct amount of light for the plants to be healthy and needs lots of care and attention for the plants to grow quickly but sufficiently.
