Mrs. Canfield is his teacher. 
Nora is the girl next door to his who recently moved to his neighborhood. She is gifted. Their parents are good friends and they spend time after school at each other's homes. 
Jackson Jacobs is Mike's enemy since birth.  
Mike's best friends are Charlie and Zack.  
Jackson asks why he isn't playing soccer this year.  He says he needs to focus on school work.  
Mrs. Scott is the principal and is going to meet with his parents to find a way for him to succeed in school.  
What is wrong with him? Mike finds $10 in his pocket and buys two sets of wind-up plastic teeth.
