With an extensive academic leadership background, Morgan Barth held responsibilities as principal of New Haven, Connecticut, public-charter Achievement First (AF) Amistad High School from 2016 through 2018. Guiding a team of eight school leaders, Morgan Barth managed a $14 million annual budget and achieved consistently high student academic performance levels.

Under Mr. Barth’s oversight, the school achieved the number one rating for high schools statewide. Focused on predominantly low-income and minority students, it helped them attain 100 percent acceptance to college. His achievements built on past experience as founding teacher and principal of Elm City College Prep middle school in New Haven.

From 2015 to 2016, Mr. Barth served as regional superintendent with Achievement First in Brooklyn, New York, and was responsible for managing elementary and middle schools in a network of three dozen schools across three states. His emphasis was on increasing leadership capacities of current and aspiring school principals through dynamic coaching and training programs.

Morgan Barth holds a BA in history from Williams College and pursued graduate studies in education leadership at National Louis University. He has also completed the certification program for superintendents at the University of Connecticut.
