I went to almost every booth and learned new things about many different countries. I made a couple of crafts, including a paper flower at the Mexico booth, and a bracelet at the India booth. I also enjoyed all the performances. While I myself did not perform, I did dance salsa at the Colombian booth. I learned so much about the countries presented at the fair.  For example, I learned that coffee is very famous in Colombia and that making origami is a fun way to establish creativity among kids in Japan. Going through each booth I made crafts, I made a paper flower in Mexico, a bangle in India, a rabbit origami in Japan, and a masquerade mask and a bracelet in Italy.

The music was also so nice. :)  I really enjoyed this booth as it is my background/culture. I as well loved how the different booths of all the cultures were coordinated.  It all tied up beautifully.  The Italian bracelet making was also so pretty! I got a blue one that looks like I really bought it in Italy! The trifolds of the other booths were so nicely crafted. It gave me so much information on cultures, traditions, and customs. The performances were also fantastic. There was so much positive energy that day. I saw nothing but smiles! I really did appreciate it! Got to learn about other country's. I visited all the booths but I want to talk about the Puerto Rican booth. I learned about the national animal being the Coquí and the sound they make which is a whistle sound, sounding like it is saying CO-KEE in a high pitched and whistle way. I also learned about the "Tostonera" which is a object to help make fried plantains with the "Tostonera" making the plantains flat. I also learned about the national flower being the "Flor De Maca". I also learned about an instrument called the "Güiro" it is used to make traditional puerto rican music. Last but not least, I recently learned about the "Vegigante" which was a folklore mask worn in Puerto Rican carnival celebrations. There was many more amazing things at the fair. I had a great time. I also saw great performances by Mariachis, Taiko drummers, and even our own students. I learn a little bit of everything because each booth gave me good general information and fun facts about their Country. I created many crafts including jewelry from Italy, roses from Mexico, colorings from India, and even a pretzel from Germany. I hosted the Mexico booth and I think it was great we had a information trifold and cool crafts to do. My favorite part of my booth was the candy though HAHA. My favorite booth other than my own was Italy because they offered lots of good information such as landmarks located there and even a pizza recipe. I also enjoyed making a bracelet for my sister. I tried lots of food my personal favorites were pocky sticks, sushi, chicken empanadas, and the pastries.
