Even though every "complaint" someone might have about their day or life is valid in one way or another, it can almost always be worse. What's interesting is that he follows up these mortifying stories with assurance for the audience. Francisco tells us that despite all of these horrible things, we shouldn't feel bad when our smaller, menial issues get in the way of our daily lives. That our feelings are valid even if they seem so insignificant. However, we shouldn't complain, sure we can be upset about a minor inconvenience but one should not be allowed to wallow in their own self sorrow.
