So pretty much 16 hours of walking in the heat. It is easier walking their with no water than walking back. The water also evaporates and half of it is gone by the time they get back. Will they ever have to stop walking for 16 hours? Or will they just need to step outside to get a drink?

But before he met the old man Hugo stole some gears for an automaton. The old man caught him but Hugo refused to give the gears back. Now I personally did not enjoy this book to much but I know there are a lot of kids out there who will love this book.

In the beginning of the book you will find out right away that Ada is abused and wants to fight back from being abused. I won’t say too much but Ada sneaks out with Jaime (her brother) during the war because Jaime was going to be sent to London but Ada wanted to come along. Ada and Jaime finally meet somebody named Miss Smith (Susan) Ada isn’t used to being treated with fairness and not being abused. Ada always ducks down if she doesn’t do something right because Ada think Miss Smith will hit her.
