It had complied with almost all conventions of a magazine advert and at the same time made it appealing to its target audience. 

However i noticed that the magazine advert did not contain any sign of record label companies. This might have been because they did'nt have time to research record labels that manage the same type of genre or they didnt think of it at all. I know for afact that in my music video that our group produced, we had forgotten to introduce a record label and i had actually researched similar record labels prior to the production of our music video. It seems like a wast of time to have researched record labels for our music video, in fact i can now take advantage of this and find ways i can present it in my ancillary markets.

I also noticed that the advert had text that are important to read but also very small. I can respond to this by making sure that the text is large enough to read from a distance. Never the less i can help but think about the very short and brief biography of the artist. For one it was all on the page in one of the links. As a member of the audience i would prefere if it was on the home page, just like how Jay Z has done of his Rocnation website page, right under the images of himself. Straigh taway this gives an impact and the combination of the text and close up images will make the audience feel alot more closer to the artist.

I believe, i will be taking a lot of reference and inspiration from the website page of Jay Z because it is the perfect conventional page that is also well known, whith simple design.
