 Zuckerberg's first objective was to spread Facebook to other educational institutions. Soon other Ivy League colleges and then other U.S. universities had access to it. Only people with a ".edu" address could access the site. Facebook's next step made it available to high school students, then U.K. universities.All he wanted to do was to build a community for people who were already connected in real life, but then decided to expand the size of that community.

Bitcoin blockchains take a lot of computing power to generate. IBM proposes to increase speed and scalability by partially replacing the “proof of work” part of the block by a “proof of stake”, which require far less computations.

Security vulnerabilities (privacy, sabotage, denial of service): Regular hacking of high-profile targets keeps this danger constantly in the back of our minds. Obviously, the consequences of sabotage and denial of service could be far more serious than a compromise of privacy. Changing the mix ratio of disinfectants at a water treatment plant or stopping the cooling system at a nuclear power plant could potentially place a whole city in immediate danger.
Regulatory and legal issues: This applies mainly to medical devices, banking, insurance, infrastructure equipment, manufacturing equipment, and in particular, pharmaceutical and food related equipment. I want to start a shisa nyama business, that will not only cater for the people in my community but also the surrounding areas. I want my business to be different from the typical shisa nyama business around South Africa, by that I mean the business will also utilize technology in terms of marketing and making payments. I would like my business to run online like uber eats so that it could be easy for my customers to make orders without having to worry about traveling and standing on long cues. I could also do a franchise with this business so that other small business owners can be able to generate profits with use on my srategies and systems. 
The reason I chose this type of business idea is because I realized that a lot of South Africans love grilled meat and that they don’t enjoy doing it by themselves. In this day and age, technology has become one of the most important factors when it comes to running and growing a business. I also witnessed that there is a very few number of small businesses which use technology, whether use it for marketing or customer services.

1. Now that you have started working with Flexbox, what do you think are its main benefits?
It makes things easier when creating a webpage layout. Also it is supported in all major browsers.

The syntax is simple to implement and these no need use floats when positioning the divs.

The architecture of an Angular application relies on certain fundamental concepts. The basic building blocks are NgModules, which provide a compilation context for components. NgModules collect related code into functional sets; an Angular app is defined by a set of NgModules. An app always has at least a root module that enables bootstrapping, and typically has many more feature modules.

 

 

NgModules provide a compilation context for their components. A root NgModule always has a root component that is created during bootstrap, but any NgModule can include any number of additional components, which can be loaded through the router or created through the template. The components that belong to an NgModule share a compilation context.

a) Data Binding - Data binding is one of the most powerful and important features in any software development language. It allows us to define communication between the component and view. So we can say that data binding is passed from component to view and from view to the component.

1. String Interpolation: The type of one-way data binding where text is between a set of curly braces often uses the name of a component property. Angular replaces that name with the string value of the corresponding component property. The syntax of string interpolation is to use double curly braces {{code}}.

2: Property Binding: Property Binding allows us to bind the view of the template expression. Property binding in simple term is defined as updating the value of a certain variable in component (model) and displaying it in view (presentation layer).

This is a one-way mechanism; thus it allows you to change the value whenever you want but only at the component level.

3: Event Binding: Event binding is defined as the updating/sending of the value/information of a certain variable from the presentation layer (view) to the component (model). For example, clicking a button.

4: Two-Way Data Binding: Two-way data binding is a combination of both Property and Event binding and it is a continuous synchronization of a data from view to the component and component to the view, i.e. changes made in the component's data should sync to the view and should immediately update the model into the corresponding component with view data.

b) Pipes - Angular pipes let you declare display-value transformations in your template HTML. A class with the @Pipe decorator defines a function that transforms input values to output values for display in a view. Angular defines various pipes, such as the date pipe and currency pipe; for a complete list, see the Pipes API list.

ACTIVITY 1 - Store App

1.    *ngFor

NgFor is a built-in template directive that makes it easy to iterate over something like an array or an object and create a template for each item. The * character before ngFor creates a parent template. It’s a shortcut to the following syntax: template=“ngFor let item of items”.

2.     *ngIf

The ngIf directive removes or recreates a portion of the DOM tree based on an {expression}. If the expression assigned to ngIf evaluates to a false value then the element is removed from the DOM, otherwise a clone of the element is reinserted into the DOM.Like with *ngFor, the * character allows to create a template and allows for a shortcut to this syntax: template=“ngIf userHasPet”.

3.     Interpolation {{ }}

Interpolation is a technique that allows the user to bind a value to a UI element. To interpolate a piece of data, it must appear inside a UI element, such as {{city}}, or using curly braces.

 Interpolation binds the data one-way. This means that when value of the field bound using interpolation changes, it is updated in the page as well. It cannot change the value of the field. An object of the component class is used as data context for the template of the component. So the value to be bound on the view has to be assigned to a field in the component class. 

4.    Property binding [ ]

Property binding is used to bind values to the DOM properties of the HTML elements. Like interpolation, property binding is a one-way binding technique. Property bindings are evaluated on every browser event and any changes made to the objects in the event, are applied to the properties. 

In an Angular application, we can bind the DOM properties using the values in the component. The property to be bound with the value can either be specified in square brackets [] or the property can be prefixed with bind-.

Event binding allows you to listen for certain events such as keystrokes, mouse movements, clicks, and touches. Angular event binding syntax consists of a target event name within parentheses on the left of an equal sign, and a quoted template statement on the right.
