The story of Frankenstein has a lot of lessons that connect to modern-day problems, one of them including the consequences of actions. Frankenstein also showed the world how dangerous science can be especially when playing around with life or death. Victor was playing with a power only God could have and it created a monster that he feared.

Another lesson we learn is that the society in the book lacks empathy and rejects the monster. We can connect this with the current world since humans still reject others because they look different or act differently. The humans in the story who are judged so quickly are no different than the ones who judge people now.

In conclusion, the creation of Frankenstein was influenced by the ideas of Romanticism and the ideas of Mary and Percy Shelley. The novel, Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley portrays the lessons of what can happen when you let the power of knowledge over powers you and how the way people are created can cause them to become a certain type of way. The story also shows emotions and other characteristics of Romanticism. Along with that, Mary Shelley's husband, Percy Bysshe Shelley, who shared similar ideas and opinions as her assisted the author with her ideas for this book.
