Find an awesome Climate, Weather, Atmosphere or Ocean fact and add it to your name. This could also be a fact how one affects the other. Ex: how does the atmosphere affect the ocean.
Include a picture :) CANNOT repeat fact. Try to match fact with LT on matrix.

Air pressure is the weight of air molecules pressing down on Earth.
The atmosphere has 5 layers: Troposphere (20 km) Stratosphere (50 km) Mesosphere (85 km) Thermosphere (690 km) Exosphere (10000 km). All this air puts a lot of air pressure on Earth due to Gravity. There is 14.7 pounds of pressure per square INCH on Earth. That means that on one square foot of Earth, there is 176.4 pounds of pressure.

As the warm air continues to rise, the surrounding air swirls in to take its place. As the warmed, moist air rises and cools off, the water in the air forms clouds. The whole system of clouds and wind spins and grows, fed by the ocean's heat and water evaporating from the surface.

Storms that form north of the equator spin counterclockwise. Storms south of the equator spin clockwise. This difference is because of Earth's rotation on its axis.

As the storm system rotates faster and faster, an eye forms in the center. It is very calm and clear in the eye, with very low air pressure. Higher pressure air from above flows down into the eye.
