Over the years, you have consistently come across as cheerful, helpful and very kind. I remember your desk in BKC as being the focal point of sharing goodies. I remember the ladies lunches we enjoyed at times.

(Sadly, in her retirement there won’t be a F2F occasion.. she deserved this the most !) She would make her workstation area like a comfy place. Anyone visiting BKC office – whether an IBMer who came to Midas or BKC on a regular basis, or an occasional IBMer who worked from customer site or someone from home.. you could bet, she’d look up to say hello, and enquire about you, have small talk, even if she’s in the midst of an important assignment.. and there were many such assignments on her plate.. some ‘thrown at’ her.. ( a few times I overheard one of our bosses speaking to her .. mentioning ‘ Praxie, I think ‘we’ need to do this, and it invariably meant ‘Praxie, please get this done .. she knew it & did it happily ) Hers is a rare one, one of the longest innings in IBM. And it was rarer even not see her in office in her workstation, in all those years.. come what may. She personified a person of formidable character within her, but also with a cheerful exterior. There are surely many more unique & admirable traits of Praxie that one could recall and mention. She has created a lasting impression in me. My Best Wishes to Dear Praxie for the post-retirement phase of her life.
