The main button you will use throughout the game will be the R2 or RB button due to it being the button that allows you to drive forward. You will also use the L2 or LB button in order to drift or brake around corners. R1 and L1( RT and LT) will allow you to check either side of your vehicle. To change camera angles in game you will have to press the triangle or Y button. In order to toggle the map and leader board on and off you will have to press the square or X button. To use nitro boosts within the game you will press the circle button or B. The main gameplay mechanic will be the function of being able to change what camera angle you choose whilst racing, in doing this you will be able to change your HUD due to the fact you will get different information from an first person view as you would from the third person view. A main difference in information between the two is the dashboard that you can see whilst in the first person mode. Another mechanic within the game is when you are involved in a crash your car will take damage and it will be visible in the third person mode, also if your windowscreen gets shattered you will be able to see that in the first person view.
