         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;There are a few solutions to avoid problems with a lack of self-esteem. One solution is positive thinking. For example, if you focus on the positive side and the points that make you happy, you will become more self-confident. Another solution is to surround yourself with positive people. You will not hear about bullying, and your confidence will increase. But, when you meet critical people, it will lower your confidence and make you less confident. That is one of the most effective methods to avoid problems with a lack of self-esteem. Finally, the last significant solution is facing your fears. For instance, write down your worries on paper and make a list of your features. When you compare your good elements with your nervousness, this way helps overcome fears and increases confidence and self-esteem. In short, positive thinking, forming healthy social relationships, and facing fears are three helpful solutions to avoid a lack of self-esteem problems.<br><br>Noura Alazmi</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Fahad's story and his struggle with self-esteem inspired people in Kuwait. Fahad Albashara is a Kuwaiti writer and social activist. First of all, when he suffered from the problem, he didn't love himself. He had no aim in his life, which led to his lack of self-esteem. Therefore, he was an introvert. And he had few friends. Moreover, he was obese and weighed around 180 kg, which decreased his self-esteem. As an example, he was ashamed when traveling because he would ask the flight attendant to bring him an extra belt. Another example: when shopping, he was shy about his clothing sizes. Fahad felt the severe impact of his problems. He was bored and disappointed with his empty life. Finally, he dedicated his time to changing his personality. He began to lose weight, socialize, and make friends. It took him a long time. As a result, he became one of the best writers in Kuwait and the Gulf. And he published several purposeful books. His self-esteem increased with his successes.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There are many causes of lack of self-esteem. The first cause is parental differentiation between children and their peers. In particular, when parents praise one son over another. It would be like asking why don't you become like your brother or be like him. As well as using reprimands that destroy their children's self-esteem, such as telling them they are cowardly, stupid, and useless. The second cause is racism against a particular race or gender. Some jobs, for example, require hiring blue-blooded and white-skinned individuals, which makes some people feel rejected by society and discouraged from having confidence in themselves. The last cause is physical and mental health issues that drive a person to lose self-confidence. For instance, some people who stutter often take minor and unimportant roles because they don't want to draw people's attention to their flaws and make fun of them. Specifically, they do not want people to look at them with sympathy or pity.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Most young adults these days suffer from the problem of lack of self-esteem which has many negative effects on their lives. One of the effects is that this problem is one of the causes of loneliness. For example, people with low self-esteem tend to stay at home all the time. As a result, they don't have the opportunities to make friends and connect with others. Another negative impact is that it prevents them from achieving success in life. For instance, they don't have the confidence in their abilities and trying new things which keep their talents hidden. Finally, it is dangerous for the mental health. To give examples, depression, stress, and anxiety are some serious mental health problems caused by lack of self-esteem. Therefore, many people end up taking their own lives. If you want to change yourself for the better, do it for yourself and not for someone else. Finding yourself is not easy, but once you do, it is worthwhile. Second, recognize your talent. For example, discover what you are good at, then practice and develop it. It will make you feel better about yourself if you do something you love. Finally, build meaningful relationships. For instance, stay away from negative people and make friends with positive ones instead. Surrounding yourself with good ones helps you match their positive energy. In conclusion, following these steps will enable you to think positively, which will help you boost your low self-esteem.</div>]]></description>
