My second response to that was , Okay so we need to do things differently accustomed to our age and use our resources considering  the future of the children's age and tech advancement

HOW?
We are still learning in a way that doesn't fit our needs.
For example we want to become teachers to teach the next Generations and after that, the learning we are doing today does not provide me with the actual situated learning that is required for this profession.
too much theory and not enough practice. 

second wondering is why am I at Uni ? 

The issue is after graduation the teachers who graduated still go through many more couple of years of trial and era of what went right and what didn't. 

We do need more training with how to teach the next Generation in ways that suit the current age and future requirements,  based on evidence on how children learn best and use resources that schools have affordably purchased. 

Teaching might become easier with Advanced Tech which will be a great thing then we as facilitators have more time to ensure each student is learning at their optimum level with the correct system knowing how students learn best in the 21century It can be more fun and effective 

Children learn much more from a video than a teacher explaining everything, I think its because of the pictorial way the video remains in the brain memory.
