The parents that send their kids to school are being affected by what is provided at the school economically.  For example, the parents pay for the lunch and if their kid doesn't like the food and chooses not to eat it, the parents pay for more food because their kid comes home hungry. Ultimately, public schools must assure the food is healthy and enjoyable for the students. Furthermore, the superintendent in charge of a county wide amount of schools must regulate what is served in the lunch line while doing their best to make sure students can afford it. Their jobs are at stake because if parents don't like what is being served or complain about the price being too high they might plan for a new superintendent. In all, most public schools  provide to different crowds and serve different foods, nonetheless, they all strive to satisfy their clientele and superintendents.

Government supported organizations are vital to the prosperity of public school food. For example, National School Lunch Program. This operation supplies free and reduced lunches for a lot of households that cant afford the food. Economically, this organization is helpful and makes it possible to keep the lunch lines in business. Furthermore, the United States Department of agriculture is just as effective as an organization because this federal executive department is in charge of creating and carrying out legislation pertaining to agriculture and food. This affects what the school can serve essentially directly affecting the quality and indirectly changing prices.
