These countries are China, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

The cause of this is mostly due to over population and inequalities to these countries and those in the west.

Some of these consequences include;

1. Decreased air qualities
Result in the decrease of human and animal health, leading to things like acid rain

 2. Ozone layer depletion
Reduction in the earth's protection from the sun

3. Infertile land
Result in crops being unable to grow due to sick land and water

These consequences are only scraping the surface of the things that would affect us if our world gets any sicker than it is.

Single use plastic or SUP is plastic that is used only once or not used for very long.

SUP is bad because it's plastics that we are desperate to get rid of, plastic that was initially designed to be thrown away, and when plastic is thrown away, we often don't care where it ends up so we get careless and end up dropping it anywhere we can find.

There are many organisations in place to help with the effects of pollution and solutions to fix it. For example, The Plastic Oceans Org (https://plasticoceans.org/) was built around trying to save the oceans and innovative ways to overcome the epidemic of pollution.

People in these countries found in possession of plastic bags face things like fines of over $100  of even jail time

4. Join or donate to an organisation that focuses on plastic oceans
5. Organise regular beach cleanups, their free and pretty fun
