This calendar can be updated throughout the school year depending on changes in the program. These calendars should be appealing and visual. Annual calendars are done once a school year where all major school counseling activities are there. These can be organized in a monthly format.<br>Weekly calendars are more flexible but serves as a plan for program implementation on a daily basis. The weekly calendar includes, "classroom lessons, group and individual counseling, meetings with students, collaboration and advocacy, data analysis, committee and fair-share responsibilities" (ASCA National Model). </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>* Each school and school system can practice having emergency drills that have to do with lock down procedures when there is a potential danger to harm students and staff. Also, having fire and sever weather drills to prepare students and staff when and if there is a real threat. <br>The comprehensive school program  can be very effective with preparing and addressing school safety, such as<br>* Individuals can recognize, address, and anticipate the needs of out-control and at-risk students.<br>* In the classrooms, there is teaching students the social, emotional, and ethical as well as cognitive skills and dispositions that support nonviolent conflict resolution, flexible problem solving, and learning.<br>* When it comes to school wide the adults and students works together to create a climate for learning and safety (Cohen, 2006).<br>Reference<br>Cohen, D.
