There are many dangers online. These dangers can cause physical, emotional, financial and reputational harm. 

Physical-When someone is physically harmed due to something online e.g., an offensive message/post which leads to a fight or violence. 

Emotional-When someone is emotionally harmed due something online e.g., abusive messages can upset the person it is targeted at. 

Financial-When someone is financially harmed due to something online e.g., a scammer steals lots of money from a company. 

Reputational-When someone's reputation is harmed due to something online e.g., a video is posted of someone committing a crime which leads them to being turned away from jobs due to their reputation. 

How to avoid online dangers 

Physical- Do not send/post messages that could offend others. Also do not share your current location publicly. 

Emotional-Block any user who sends/posts abusive messages towards you, report abusive online users to the owner of the business/app 

Cyber bullying is a digital danger that can effect people in a physical and emotional way. Cyber bullying can effect people physically because it can effect their mental health and make It get worse. It can also effect people in an emotional way because the people who bully online do not realize the severity of what they are doing because it is behind a screen so people do not think that it will effect people emotionally. The cyber bullying can lead to suicide or self-harm in its worst case, but it can also turn physical if the person who was getting bullied online sees the person who was bullying them in real life which could result in it turning physical and fights could break out   

Physical dangers 

Physical dangers can vary from posting where you are on social media to showing people your location by using social media too much and posting updates on your exact location. Doing these things can cause scammers and criminals to know that you aren't in your house and showing the internet that you are on holiday can lead to burglars targeting your house because they will know that you are on holiday and that no one is currently in your house. 

Reputational dangers  

Reputational danger is when your digital footprint everything that you do on line will give you a reputation for people like job interviewers to find out who you actually are and if you are suitable for the job and if you post anything stupid that shows that you might not be completely committed to the job or you post something inappropriate or something that might cause problems in the future it could lead to the employer finding out and you not getting a job.
