They are  different because  planet's 2  structure is sequence  and planet's  3 structure is compare and contrast . I know this because in passage planet 2   the story is  written  in time  order . For example it said "They launched marsnik  1 on October 10 , 1960 ..." . Another example is that they tried again in 1917 but this time it crashed into Mars . Those are all my reasons why I think plant 2 is sequence . Now let's start on planet's 3 . Planet's 3 structure  is compare and contrast . I know this because is compares Mars and Earth and their differences . What they compare is that Mars and earth are similar in terms in their day lengths . Another thing they compare is Mars and Earth contain polar ice caps .  Their are much more examples . Although, the text structure of Planets 3 is compare and contrast. I know this because the text compares both Earth and Mars. For example, in the text it says that Earth and Mars look very different. It also talks about how Earth only has one moon orbiting around it, but Mars has two. This is the text structure of planets 3.
