Motorhomes are more robust, longer and larger vehicles, with an independent rear cabin. The motorhomes are well equipped, have more interior space, toilet and shower and are ideal for families or groups of two to six people. Motorhome costs, of course, are high, but the comfort and independence of the campsites is much greater. Basic kitchen equipment, pillows, bed linen and towels are usually included in the rent. It is not necessary to take the whole house from Brazil, thus ensuring freedom to choose where to eat and sleep.
The biggest advantages of those traveling by motorhome are the savings on accommodation and meals and also the total freedom of itinerary. The option for campsites makes the cost of accommodation much lower. And when we talk about the lesser good, we're not exaggerating. The cost of an average hotel stay in New Zealand is around NZD 200, while the cost of camping is between NZD 10 and NZD 30 per person (not to mention that there are free campgrounds). The ease of having a kitchen in the campervan and motorhome also helps a lot in the economy. Instead of spending on restaurants (which can be quite expensive in New Zealand), it will be possible to buy food in supermarkets.
