A key point made at the SingHealth session was a speaker who shared an experiment that had 2 teams working with/without assistance of AI, before switching them. The group that initially did not have AI assistance had more active brain activity throughout both tasks, suggesting that learning is more active without AI, while using/applying AI is more profuctive after having had fundamental foundation.

tl;dr. Learn without AI, but use AI to assist your work.

Making use of CCE lessons to change students' mindset about AI, to work alongside AI, not fear AI. What are the communication skills do we need? Cannot adapt to the change. Students do not want to be placed in front of the rest of the students to present their thoughts, how can we incorporate AI in this? But if we do, then how do we train students to be confident communicators then? When AI can answer all questions in this world, what we want our students is the joy that they displayed in their learning, the eagerness to want to learn new things, the genuine and empathy that we want to have in our students. Holding a proper conversation - respecting each others' opinion is something that are valued in a good communicator. AI should be a tool to complement learning but not a tool for you to seek answers from. Students need to discern which information is important.
