The four years spent at UFG were as insane  as a roller coaster ride, but luckily I had my parents’ support all the way through that journey. During the time I spent there, I met incredible people and made connections that were the kick off to my career.

I have been an English Language Arts teacher for about three years. I have learned an incredible amount from the teaching program I follow and  from my students. Besides, the school I work for has this great view, and it always gives the employees opportunities to improve their careers.

It was not an easy task, though. I had an idea of what I wanted for my future, but I have never taken the time to add images to that. Being able to picture my life for the next couple of years made my plans more meaningful. It seemed to validade everything that I had in mind. So, having the opportunity to take this specialization course is the beginning of a journey I have been planning for a while. I am a dreamer, a believer, and I know I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. Of course, as long as I work hard towards it. So this year, I decided to take a step forward on my career plan. 
   In conclusion, being able to fully visualize my path as an English teacher, made me realize how much I have accomplished through the years, it made me proud of who I am now. Besides, it made me more aware of the things I can still achieve.

 The process of creating my vision board was interesting. I did not have any problems thinking about the structure I was going to exploit. I knew I wanted to use my past to represent some of the things I have accomplished that led me to this point in my career. The present, where I am grateful and happy at my current job and the path I have been building there. However, when it was time to build my future, I was lost for a while. Trying to envision myself in fifteen to twenty years was overwhelming. Overall, looking backward and forward was a great experience.
