Yet their abilities granted them high respect for their bravery and strong dedication of victory within the war. The Buffalo Soldiers were said to have gotten their nickname by the traits the buffalo is described or how Native Americans relied on the appearance of their hair resembling buffalo hair. </div>]]></description>

They were protectors of the western settlers, assisting to construct roads, and also had the opportunity of serving military wars in the Southwest. Yet, in this  type of light, black army men were considered to be more respectable in the military because of their duty work. </div>]]></description>
