While working on the location and risk assessment, I encountered a few issues. One of the challenges was gathering all the necessary information and ensuring the assessment was thorough. To resolve this, I took my time and carefully went through each aspect of the location, identifying potential risks and coming up with mitigation strategies. I also consulted with others who had experience in this area to get their insights and suggestions.

I'm quite happy with how the location and risk assessment turned out. I feel confident that I've covered all the important aspects and have a solid plan in place to address any potential risks. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I've taken the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and successful project.

To improve my ability to complete the location and risk assessment, I could have used some additional resources or tools. For example, having access to a comprehensive checklist or template specifically designed for location assessments would have been helpful. It would have provided me with a structured framework to follow and made the process more efficient.

Overall, despite the initial struggle with the shot list, I'm satisfied with the progress I made today. I'm looking forward to working on the storyboard, moodboard, and script at home, where I can fully immerse myself in the creative process. I believe it will result in a more focused and inspired outcome.

To begin, I took the time to look back at my past work and identify the areas where I excelled. One of the strengths I discovered was my enjoyment in creating a poster, as well as my developed understanding of audience profiling when making a silent film. During the presentation, I referred to my past project on a sustainable fashion magazine and previous work experience. This allowed me to showcase my skills in editing, creating engaging editorials and photography, as well as my ability to develop a strong social media marketing strategy. I also explored software resources and considered the associated costs for various marketing activations, which demonstrated my dedication and attention to detail. These experiences gave me confidence in my ability to create visually appealing and targeted content.

I also conducted a personal SWOT analysis. This helped me identify the weaknesses such as having a limited budget, access to materials, and time constraints compared to real-world marketing campaigns. Moreover minimal access to real-world feedback from consumers or industry professionals may impact the project's effectiveness. I plan to manage these challenges by conducting surveys at sustainable fashion workshops and thrifts stores which I have access to, as well as utilising existing statistics and implementing the successful features of previous campaigns. This was a valuable exercise that allowed me to focus my efforts and make informed decisions.

When it came to creating the presentation, I decided to use Canva as my design tool. I used a template for the first display page but not for the rest of the PowerPoint to ensure that I maintained a professional, creative look synonymous with my concept. One challenge I faced was my nervousness when presenting. To overcome this, I chose to prerecord my presentation. However, I found myself re-recording multiple times due to various reasons. One of the frustrations was the inability to audio test on Canva's software, which led to some audio quality issues. It was a valuable lesson for me to allocate enough time for audio testing and consider using a better microphone in the future.

Overall, I am pleased with the result of my presentation. I always enjoy adding my personal creative flare to any project, and I'm pleased with how I was able to maintain a consistent theme throughout. It was a journey of self-reflection and growth, and I believe it will serve as a strong foundation for my sustainable fashion campaign. Moving forward, I will remember the importance of audio testing and investing in better recording equipment if I choose to prerecord in the future.

EBI: To reach the high grades for the creative grading criteria you need to showcase your own skills in software and equipment. Relying on templates will not allow you to do this and it would be good for you to adapt your plan before starting the creative production. 

Throughout the year, I have engaged in various projects and tasks that have brought me joy and satisfaction. I particularly enjoyed working on papermation, where I was able to tap into my childlike creativity and polish my skills in drawing, precision, patience, and attention to detail. Additionally, I found pleasure in conducting case studies on pioneers of different mediums of media, such as silent film, researching their historical context, and even creating a costume to immerse myself in the era. Furthermore, I discovered a newfound interest in scriptwriting during our fright night found footage task, which allowed me to explore storytelling in a unique and engaging way. While I have found joy in many aspects of my coursework this year, there have been certain tasks that I found less enjoyable. Specifically, I struggled with video editing using Premier Pro, as I found the software to be complex and challenging to navigate. Similarly, I did not particularly enjoy filming with a camera, as I found it to be intimidating and overwhelming at times. Additionally, preproduction tasks such as shot lists felt  time-consuming, detracting from my overall enjoyment of the filmmaking process.

Within this project, I would like to further develop my skills in visual storytelling, research, and creative expression. Specifically, I aim to refine my abilities in scriptwriting, costume design, and cinematography, while also exploring new techniques and approaches to storytelling. Additionally, I hope to strengthen my proficiency in video editing using Premier Pro and overcome any challenges or limitations I may have encountered in previous projects. By pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and embracing new opportunities for growth, I am confident that this project will enable me to expand my skill set and achieve my creative aspirations.
I chose this topic for my project because it aligns with my diverse interests in fashion, art, research, history, sociology, psychology, and visual storytelling. By exploring themes related to fashion and its intersection with culture, society, and identity, I can explore a subject that fascinates me on multiple levels. Additionally, I see this topic as an opportunity to showcase my creativity and analytical skills while sifting into a field that is both personally fulfilling and academically enriching.
