I think it’s a great tool to allow all students the time and space to respond. Students who are shy, too scared to speak in class due to language barriers, or lack of confidence can express themselves with emoji, text, and stickers, which is similar to how they might interact with friends using social media platforms. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Just ask students to respond to any question (social emotional or academic) and let them be creative 😊
