I think this could be a foreshadow--someone probably does know about Montag's hidden books!!

The list in this sentence implies that Montag is hearing things in short bursts.

Pg. 15: "One drop of rain. Clarisse..." Same here!

Connection to Bradbury's "The Pedestrian." This is showing that perhaps the uncle is just like Leonard Mead from the short story.

Pg. 22: "great bees...sleeping the evil out of itself."

Pg. 23: "Hound leaping out like a moth...finding its victim...inserting its needle and going back to its kennel to die as if a switch has been turned."

Is this because the Hound is annoying, especially to Montag?

The lady sets herself ablaise in her books. This could mean either she doesn't want to leave her books, or its a final stand agenst the worlds numbness.
