See powerpoint for more information about what dystopian books are. Also, start making a list in your binder of story ideas and things you can write about. Remember, good essayists can look at issues that have come up collectively in their reading and writing when they are seeking ideas for what to write about.

I miss you all! I am sure that you are reading books, writing journal entries, writing new endings for stories or movies you know, and just spending a lot of time on ELA work (I can dream, right?). Seriously, I want to pass on some great resources and ideas provided by Houston County’s amazing ELA department to keep you working through this break and make sure you are always learning. Remember that ELA may be the easiest subject to keep up with because you have many options for reading and writing. You can email me if you have any questions or need any assistance.
