- Organizes information into one place  great for SPED students (if they know how to use it)
- Great to collaborate with others because of Commons or shared drives
- Allows for students to move at own pace. My goal is to offer more choice via activities within Canvas by learning how to group students and how to add more external tools.
Challenges:
- not all teachers use it the same way - make it hard to organize for function
- If parents have no familiarity with LMS its hard to explain how it all works. 
- Trying to plan student friendly actvities/ adjusting what I did in the classroom to online learning was hard. Challenging with a LMS and County requirements - hopefully external tools will help :)
