Today families gather together and celebrate and retell the stories that happened that day.

Easter is the most important holiday is Christianity.

Lent marks forty days that Jesus spent in the wilderness before he began to preach

In the past and to this day Christians give up one of their favorite foods for 40 days.

The last week of lent is called the holy week which starts on a sunday and that is when Jesus came back alive in Jerusalem.

In contrast, Easter Sunday is a day of rejoicing. On this day christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
