The video/talk was a great reminder that regardless of who we are and where we come from, all of us have some sort of unconscious bias. We need to be aware of these biases that exist within ourselves, our students and the community at large, and address them as and when they occur. I would like to have open conversations about race, religion, ethnicity and other variables that affect our relationships with each other.
