Animal Enrichment Decorating Contest!

Back in the day, I made an enrichment-making station at Liberty Wildlife. People drew on coffee filters with nontoxic markers and added perfumes to them. It would be so cool to do this with high school/middle school students. We would donate them to an animal sanctuary like Liberty Wildlife.

Game Design guest speaking

We can teach students interested in games how to develop video games using gaming platforms in the Game Design classes (high school Game Design 1 and 2) if have programming or coding experience. We can also teach students about the history of gaming and some gaming concepts. It would be free without cost.

Book Drive

I think the freshman seminar teachers really liked the educational outreach group stopping by. If we want to continue a project from last semester, freshman seminar presentations would be great!

Dog Walking?

I'm new here and don't know if this has been done before, but we could do a contest to see how many different dogs you can walk from your local animal shelter, or from your area in general. I know allergies and access to transportation might be issues, but I still think it's worth looking into. At the end, everyone would present their tallies, and maybe a picture or two of the dogs they walked!

Donating School Supplies

Local schools are likely in need of supplies. I know in the past we organized a food drive to a local food bank. Perhaps we could do the same thing but for a school

Street Medicine Phoenix

Street Medicine Phoenix is a group that works with medical professionals to give medical aid to the homeless population in Phoenix. The main leader of the group was a doctor for quite some time, and now spends his retirement helping those in need. While you cannot volunteer to go out with groups to help give aid to people directly, I recently was a part of the group that volunteered to help create hygiene kits that are handed out to the people living in camps and on the streets, and it was amazing. These kits have various things that can greatly help these people in need. I know someone who could give me the contact information of one of the head people in charge of these events, so I could reach out and see what we could do!

With multiple different events, we could maybe then try to donate the money
