This was the start; the start of our relationship. Everything seemed great and I did everything and anything that I could to make sure that he was happy. When he wanted something I got  it, when he asked me to do something I did my best to do it. I never realized how much I was doing for him and how little he was doing for me until one of my friends asked me what he has done for me after I told them some of the things I have done for him. So I asked him about it.

Why should I do more for you? Of course you have to do more for me, I am amazing and everything I do is perfect. I deserve everything that you got me. Time with me is enough, do you know how many other people wish they could spend time with me? You better appreciate me. And I only love myself, you are very ungrateful

Soon the relationship became one sided, I put my all into him, time and energy but he put nothing into me, it was always about him. But it was okay because if I kept going one day he would love me more than he loves himself. But that never happened, he ended up cheating on me. He does not care about anyone but himself and does not love anyone but himself. This left me heartbroken, now I am sitting down looking at my empty pill bottle wondering where I went wrong. Did I do too much or too little or did I ask for too much or was I just never enough?
