The dog made the cat disappear

Evidence 1- the note saying you didn't see nothing

Evidence 2- the cat collar in the dirt

Evidence 3- the cat missing poster with the same collar that was seen in the dirt

Evidence 4- The man eating Doritos and replying to his wife he has not seen the cat

The man planting flowers saw the dog doing something and then saw a poster of a missing cat.

The dog went to the man and stared him down.

The dog passed the man a bag of Doritos with a note that said “you saw nothing”

The poster showed a missing cat with a collar that looked like the one the dog was burying in the dirt.

At the end, a woman asked the guy that was planting flowers if he had seen their cat and the dog appeared at the door holding another bag of Doritos and the man replied “no”.

Evidence 4: Due to completed bribery potential witness is silenced and lies to cover up Fluffy's whereabouts.

Evidence 5: Collar is being buried is the same as the missing poster being worn by Fluffy.

Evidence 6: Dog reminds man of apparent agreement with the display of additional bags of Doritos and the bribery continues with the man lying to wife.

When the dog appeared the second time with another bag of Doritos it shows reinforcement of previous agreement.

The dog growling at the man in the beginning was a scare tactic to usher compliance.

The dog appearing for the second time also reminded the man that he was being watched and better not talk.

These combined actions reinforce that the dog is guilty of malicious actions against the cat and hiding the evidence.

The dog wants to be the only family pet. The cat is the other family pet in this scene.

Evidence 2: The cat is nowhere to be seen, and there is a missing cat poster at 7 seconds.

Evidence 3: The cat in the poster "Fluffy" appears to have the same collar as the one previously buried in the dirt at 3 seconds.

The owner doesn't even like cats, he's more of a dog person, the cat is his wife's cat. The cat ate the owner's Doritos, so the dog "took care of the cat" because he is both jealous of the cat having attention in the house and because he also loves his owner - DOGS ARE A MANS BEST FRIEND! So he opened the cat's door so the cat would run away. The owner didn't know he'd do this, but in the end he was happy about it.
