The question is, does this change really counts as our advantage or is it the other way around?

People from a very far place can now talk to you via video calls and chat. I
can say that in a situation like this, it's really helpful for them. But too
much technology really causes a bad practice of communication with people. Instead of saying the things they wanted to say in person, they now depend on texting. Which is in my opinion, makes a person coward and dishonest with himself. Instead of talking to each other while drinking coffee, they would just face their cellphones ignoring the person they’re with. Another thing is that it makes people more hard to approach. Basically, you cannot determine a person’s true feelings just by reading his or her text message. To put it simple, what is the use of communication when there’s no interaction between two or more persons? As the time pass by, people are relying more and more on the technology that we have. Due to this absence of communication, some people are desperate to look for someone or something whom they can talk to. They already invented robots that is said that it will listen to whatever you wanted to say and act like they’re actually following the conversation. Some people got satisfied with that kind of conversation with a robot because these robots are designed or programmed to listen to them. It is sad reality that communicating with people nowadays are getting difficult each day. It’s just like you’re trapped in an illusionary conversation with a person that you don’t even notice it because you’re longing for attention.

Despite how the technology seems to be advanced today, communication should not be set aside and be forgotten. For this is the key to a peaceful community.
