The concept of student readiness to learn was not something I had previously considered. I know I like to be in the right mindset and it makes sense this is true for my students too. Sometimes they might not be 'ready' until I have introduced something a few times.

I think providing quick feedback is the real advantage technology offers...I can quickly guage students' knowledge with a show of hands. Giving 24 kids individual feedback takes longer.
