Hadith Jibril holds great significance as it clearly outlines the essence of Islam. In this narration, Angel Jibril appeared before Prophet Muhammad in human form and questioned him about Islam, faith (iman), and spiritual excellence (ihsan). The Prophet provided answers to each, and Jibril affirmed their correctness. This hadith highlights that Islam consists of three key aspects: outward practices (Islam), inner beliefs (iman), and striving for spiritual perfection (ihsan). It serves as a fundamental guide for Muslims, helping them deepen their understanding of the religion and encouraging them to practice with sincerity and devotion.

Hadith Jibril emphasizes that Islam is established upon five essential pillars. These include affirming the testimony of faith (shahadah), performing the five daily prayers (salah), giving alms to those in need (zakah), fasting during the month of Ramadan (sawm), and undertaking the pilgrimage to Makkah (hajj) if one is able. These pillars form the core of a Muslim’s religious life, ensuring a strong connection with Allah. By upholding these practices, a believer strengthens their faith and adheres to the principles of Islam.

The Necessity of Prophethood Based on Surah Nuh (71:1-28)

Prophethood is necessary because it guides people toward the right path. In Surah Nuh, Prophet Nuh (Noah) called his people to worship Allah alone and warned them about the consequences of disbelief. However, they rejected his message and insisted on following their wrong ways. This shows that without prophets, people can go astray and lose their connection with Allah. Prophets are sent to remind people of the truth and help them avoid punishment in this life and the hereafter.

Prophets face many challenges in delivering their message. In Surah Nuh, Prophet Nuh preached for 950 years, but his people refused to listen. They mocked him, covered their ears, and ignored his warnings. This shows that prophets must remain patient and continue their mission, even when people reject them.

The duty of a prophet is to teach people about Allah, warn them about the Day of Judgment, and encourage them to do good. Prophet Nuh invited his people to seek forgiveness and promised that Allah would bless them if they repented. This teaches us that prophets are not only messengers but also role models who care for their people.

The Understanding of the Belief in Qada and Qadr

Qada and Qadr refer to the belief that everything happens by the will and knowledge of Allah. Qada means Allah’s eternal plan, while Qadr refers to how that plan unfolds in reality. This belief teaches us that nothing happens by accident; everything is part of Allah’s wisdom.

Believing in Qada and Qadr helps Muslims trust Allah in both good and bad times. When something good happens, they should be grateful, and when facing hardship, they should be patient because Allah has a reason for everything. This belief gives peace to the heart and prevents people from losing hope.

However, belief in Qada and Qadr does not mean that humans have no choice. Allah has given people free will to make decisions, but everything they do is within His knowledge. This teaches us to take responsibility for our actions while trusting in Allah’s plan.

https://islamqa.info/en/answers/34732/what-is-qadar-in-islam?utm_source

https://honeyfortheheart.wordpress.com/tafsir-ibn-kathir/tafsir-of-surah-nuh-ayat-1-28-end/?utm_source=

Adab Toward Parents

In Islam, parents hold a high status, and treating them with respect and kindness is a sacred duty. Speaking gently, obeying them in good matters, and serving them with love especially in their old age bring immense blessings. Expressing gratitude for their sacrifices and praying for their well-being are essential acts of devotion. Disrespect, harsh words, or neglecting them is strongly discouraged, as it leads to displeasure from both parents and Allah.

These are my Usrah members, and I feel truly grateful to have met them. They are incredibly supportive and intelligent, always sharing thoughtful opinions and encouraging each other in every discussion. Their kindness and willingness to listen have made every session more meaningful and enjoyable. Meeting them has been a wonderful experience because it has given me the opportunity to make new friends, learn from different perspectives, and grow both personally and spiritually.

I also want to thank our Naqibah, Nina, for her dedication and effort in guiding us. She has been a great help in explaining our weekly topics in depth, making each discussion more engaging and insightful. Her clear and detailed explanations have sparked our curiosity and encouraged us to explore the topics even further. Without her guidance, our learning experience would not have been as enriching and impactful.

I am so glad to have them in my life, as they have created a warm and welcoming environment where we can openly share our thoughts and support one another. Through this Usrah, I have gained not only knowledge but also friendships that I truly cherish. I sincerely hope to meet them again in Usrah 2, where we can continue this journey together, deepen our understanding, and strengthen the bond we have built.
