Event Two Hypothesis

When the Mongols started expanding and taking over, they shut down access to the Silk Road. Europe was addicted to Asian goods so the tried to find an alternate route to Asia. While searching, they ran into the New Lands (America), and mistook it as Asia. My ancestors were settlers and crossed the Oregon Trail to California. Generations later, I was born in this state.

Event Two

Who- Merchants used the path to trade with other countries.
What- A long winding trail that mostly merchants needed for trading.
When- 14th-15th century
Where- A trail that stretches through Asia, Afghanistan, Iran, and the Eastern Mediterranean Sea coast. Or Europe and Asia.
Why- To have an easier and quicker way of trading.

My ancestors probably on both sides of the Fall of the Aztec Civilization. The civilization was located in northern Mexico.The Spanish were looking for new land. They came along the Aztecs and pretended to be friendly. They soon slaughtered the Aztecs and the whole population was wiped out. Some people can look at this event as a bad thing but for all of the tribes living around the Aztecs because the tribes' citizens were taken as prisoner and then used as a sacrifice. The event lasted from 1519-1521.

The Aztecs and Spanish "mingled" during the war and after to make a new culture, Mexicans. My ancestors were probably on both sides of the war until one pair from both sides fell in love. The first Mexicans were born and the culture grew from there.
