The reason why I chose this picture and why I believe it best represents my understanding in society and environment is because I've always known that, as humans, we need trees to live. Since I was in elementary school I've been taught that the oxygen we breathe come from trees and that also we exhale carbon dioxide that benefits the trees. I believe that the role of plants is to provide us with oxygen and sometimes even food and to protect smaller animals from predators who want to feed on them.

The reason I chose this video is because it explained more than just the process of photosynthesis. The teacher went further in depth describing the roles of protons, neutrons, and electrons. It expanded my knowledge on photosynthesis and cleared up the majority of questions I had when it came to the purpose of why it happens and the cause of effect of the process.

The land plant I chose is Gymnosperms because that is the most common land plant I've personally encountered in Georgia, especially Kennesaw where I currently live. It's taxonomic name is Conifer however I simply refer to them as pinecones. These plants are literally found everywhere in my area including my own backyard. Their spiky and sharp, so I try not to get close enough to where I can touch them but they're interesting to visualize because their shape is very unique and peculiar even though it is a common plant in Georgia.

The biome that I believe is in most danger of ecological change is by far the deciduous forest. The reason I say this is because of deforestation caused by humans. Because of growing economies in the world, people need real estate, commercial and residential, to provide businesses. Buildings have been replacing trees which affect the biome's plants, animals, and the overall ecosystem. I believe there should be a limit on the amount of trees that can be cleared for public use to protect this biome from a harmful change.

The main impact I'm going to focus on in this diagram is the development of irrigation systems. The impact the change in the economy had on the human population was beneficial for most people because it opened up doors and new opportunities when it came to currency, livelihood, and a variety of resources in nutrition. This impact on the human population was of great value for the people living in that time period. Mainly because it made life more efficient and it paved the way for irrigation systems to be used as an asset in the economy of today's age.

For this topic I chose an article that best depicts the inventions and innovations from the third agriculture revolution that led to a global society. The reason I chose this article is because it describes the enhancement of quality and production. The basic agricultural techniques such as planting and harvesting crops paved the way for an easier global society as far as labor. This article is also good because it highlights the pros and cons of innovation in the agricultural revolution whether it be crops, animals, or inventions of machines. Here is the article that I chose.
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00438240903429649

This is Haiti, and the reason why I chose this picture is because it best depicts what I envision the world to be in the future if it's present day practices go unchecked. I believe that if the government were to allow lawlessness and disorder it would crush global agriculture and its economies. I can assume that the amount of homeless people would increase by the day and crime would be rampant. I also believe that there would be massive corruption in the political arena as more countries would turn from being democracies to communism over time.
