After having our son, my husband company moved us around several times and I did not pursue a career with this degree. Once my son started school, we noticed behaviors that were consistent with ADHD and had him evaluated. My son was diagnosed with ADHD. That made me want to learn all I can about the disorder and what my son needed in order to succeed. We are avid sports fan and enjoy attending various sporting events including baseball, soccer and hockey. My son is in his five year of playing soccer for our church and is beginning to get quite good. It is so much fun watching him mature in his playing. I love to curl up with a good book and can get lost for hours reading.
